About the Band Members
Amado began singing and
playing keyboard 20 years ago, and received his Bachelor of Music from University of MD College Park, where he studied Jazz
under Ron Elliston. He has performed as a Jazz vocalist in Baltimore, D.C., and Philadelphia. On moving to Central Florida, he co-
founded a popular high-energy Blues band. With this band, he was hired to open for the Temptations Review featuring Dennis
Edwards. Amado has also performed at the Melborne Art Festival, the Space Coast Jazz and Blues Festival, and at venues such
as the Gaylord Palms, the Adam's Mark Orlando Hotel, and Plaza Resort and Spa in Daytona. Amado also writes, and in 1998
recorded some of his songs on his first album, entitled Wanderlust.
Antone studied classical timpani, percussion, and art at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He has played and
recorded with many NY-area local jazz and rock groups, and as a rehearsal percussionist in Manhattan for dance companies such
as Alvin Ailey, American Dance Machine, and Edward Zawacki. Upon moving to Orlando, Antone began playing drums and
percussion with Orlando artists such as Cristian Valenzuela, Ruth King, Les Dudek, Michael Andrews, the Porch Dogs, Dave
Rankin, Jayla, and many others. Professional and experienced, Antone enjoys playing all styles of music. For him, drumming is a
very special passion.
Dan has been playing
bass for about 30 years. He worked the Florida rock circuit in the late 70's and early 80's, then moved on to the Top 40 dance
circuit, touring America and working in major hotels and casinos, including Resorts International and Trump's Castle in Atlantic City.
In the mid 80's he joined the popular Orlando-area band Sound Society. With this band he worked extensively at Walt Disney
World's Tomorrowland Terrace and at Church Street Station, and also appeared at numerous Sunset Serenade concerts. For the
past decade Dan has been working as a sideman in several local bands, playing everything from smooth jazz to Latin to Blues to
classic rock. Whatever style Dan is playing, he makes it groove!
22 years, Rick's "in the pocket" acoustic & electric guitar playing has always been a welcome asset for many local
artists, groups, recording studios, and the listening audience. He has played in venues from large arenas to private parties,
including The TD Waterhouse Arena, The Sundome Arena in Tampa, The Winter Park Art Festival, Fiesta in the Park, Leu
Gardens, and the Central Florida attractions. Rick's contributions dig deeper into the soul of what the band has to offer - sweet
rhythms, tasty tunes and music business professionalism. "It feels great creating this music, it is truly magical. Music's energy
rejuvenates, inspires, it's an absolute blast!"
